I am very happy to unveil the new look and feel of the Ducati Adelaide website. My main design goals were easy access to individual bike pages and quality use of Ducati's amazing photography.
Speaking of new websites, Ducati international has just launched a powerful new site design. Interestingly, they decided to continue their policy of hiding their amazing photography behind walls of logins screens and tyranical flash galleries. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid with the design of Ducati Adelaide. As you will see upon visiting, I make huge images the focal point of the design - especially the individual bike pages, which have now had all their images upgraded to 1280 pixel width - see the Superbike 1198S for an example of what I mean.
The next crucial steps in the development of the Ducati Adelaide website are the definition of a long term content strategy and the delivery of custom high quality video - you can see an example of the things to come by checking out the new Hypermotard 796 video on the news page.
Spargo's is one of the biggest cafes in Adelaide, situated right in the center of the action
next to the cinemas at marion shopping center. The Spargo's website has what I call
an 'all up front' design - all page links are out in the open, easy to see, and not hidden from the user within
drop down menus. We are very proud of our strong and sturdy display of the
menu on the site.
A very interesting point about this site is that we host the latest
movie previews.
Spargo's has recently initiated its membership system and the number of people joining is firing up.
This website has a very interesting future ahead of it.
I am very happy to hear from Steven of A Cut Above catering that his catering business has doubled because of the website. A Cut above also run a small cafe and a home delivery food business.
Stabilised Earth
Another smooth and clean design that appeals to my preference for minimalism. The design was guided by the Stabilised Earth logo that was designed by fellow Stabilised Earth team member Nick.
